I'm really in a sweat here, and in danger of losing the radio programme. I've been to the iStore/Apple Store or whatever it's called here in Frankfurt, Germany, where they just stood and shrugged at each other and suggested I call Apple Service, which I did, again to no avail. If there is any possible connected event, it may be that this problem has only existed in the last three iterations of Mojave, i.e. I might mention that the system has worked perfectly as presently configured (Yamaha MG10XUF USB mixer, Radiologik DJ, etc.etc.) has always worked flawlessly. I have tried all the obvious things (reset SMC, NVRAM, PRAM, using different playout software, etc.), to no avail. I can't record a full two-hour programme, because the playout software (Radiologik DJ Pro) will stop playing tracks out into the USB mixer long before two hours is up. I record a radio programme and a podcast, and especially with regard to the radio programme, this is causing havoc. Interestingly, though, if I play a track I've recorded in Adobe Audition (or any of those), it will play quite happily. The only cure is a restart, in which case the problem just recurs again after an hour or two. YouTube, or any other video, just sits and looks at me with the rotating arrow, and nothing happens. just don't launch when you click on a track to play it. Presently running on Mojave 10.14.6.įor the last couple of months, and getting progressively worse, the audio and video simply stop functioning after the computer has been running for an hour or two. I have a late 2013 macbook pro 13 inch with intel I5.Īudio and video stop working after a couple of hours I have a 2017 iMac, 4.2 Ghz, 64GB RAM, i7, Radeon Pro 580 (8GB). The last recording i made like this is months ago, so I did not do a recording just before the big sur update, so I can not really be sure they are related. One of my favourite pastimes is not possible in this way. I also made a recording without a microphone and plugin instruments only - but no different outcome. It sounds great through the headphone while playing, but the recording sounds muffled and it has glitches. I use a Focusrite 4i2 audio interface, but the problem also occurs when I disconnect it and use the internal sound only. All in all, my MainStage rig became unusable for recording a song in my homestudio. Occasionally it flatlines is on both channels at the same time. However the recording sounds really bad and it has glitches: for like 0.1second the left channel has all 'zeros', a flatline, and then the signal continues. CPU load is below 20% or so, not a glitch whatsoever. When I play back, sound is terrific, as usual. It does have two channels though in the recording (there is an issue with people only being able to record mono - I don't think I have that). As if my headphone is not wel plugged in, or low res. I really think you will like it.After the big sur update with MainStage 3.5.1. It's shareware, download the demo for free and put it through it's paces. So here is the phrase. You don't have to take my word for it. I think when the music scheduler is released it can only add value to an already dynomite DJ package! Radio stations take note: this software looks to be the answer to the other high priced automation programs available in the PC world, and what will probably be one of the few outstanding Radio station automation packages here in the Mac world. I settled on Radiologik DJ for the afore mentioned reasons. It just didn't happen! I have looked at Mega Seuge and DJ 1800. I tried Real hard to make the last beta version of Radiologik DJ crash. It is for the serious DJ that wants to do his best at a performance without worring about all the "extras" you might never use in other DJ programs. This program isn't designed for glitz and glitter. Considering all that is in the program I'd be happy to pay $128.00 for each license to send out several DJ's with different shows all on the same night. Thats too cool! With two main players and a third independent player you can be as creative as you wish. One click and you're there! Little things like the advance or back 5 seconds buttons in the library player make setting talk time so easy! How many programs let you set up your play list, and calculate the total playing time even considering the change of percentage in the playing time. Loading your itunes library or playlists couldn't be eaiser. I have found it to be intutive, and the more you use it the eaiser it is to run. I have been using Radiologik DJ just about from the beginning beta version.
